We can help you bridge the species gap between the horse and human in order for you to be respected enough by your horse for him to have confidence in your leadership and follow your suggestions.

In our horsemanship program we feel it is just as important to work with the human as it is with the horse. After all, the horse is only half of the partnership.

We have designed an easy to follow program for you and your horse. In training horses and ourselves it is very important to be consistent, fair and firm without being overbearing. These three points will be the foundation for building confidence and respect in both you and your horse.

We begin by teaching control through communication from the ground. Then we move into the saddle after the horse has learned to yield to pressure and knows something about how to be ridden.

This approach works well with horses of all ages, breeds or backgrounds and is a good basis to work from for riders of all disciplines and levels.
